T&G Constructors is Hiring an Accounts Payable Coordinator Near Doral, FL
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
The Accounts Payable Coordinator shall be primarily responsible for recording and producing accurate and proper payments to supplier and subcontractors. The person in this position must assist payees in submitting proper paperwork including invoices, subcontractor pay applications, W-9 forms, insurance certificates, partial or final lien releases for first and second tier vendors, and satisfaction of lien notifications. All source documents must be scanned into RedTeam Software and properly filed for accounting and project management purposes. This position reports to the Project Accountant.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Enters and routes approved invoices into the RedTeam accounting system.
Processes manual check requests as needed.
Produces checks, attaches documentation and distributes them to the President for signature. Distribute checks to vendors. Acquires lien waivers as required.
Verifies vendor credentials as required, including insurance certificates and Subcontract Agreements.
Maintains annual Accounts Payable files.
Upload Notice to Owner to RedTeam.
Reviews and validates vendor statements.
Audits and prepares 1099 forms at year end.
Provides administrative support to Project Accountants as needed.
Assumes additional responsibilities as requested by corporate executives.
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:
Experience in Commercial GC Construction Accounts Payable is preferred. This includes an understanding of Schedule of Values, Notice to Owners, Lien Waivers, Discounts and Retainage. Experience with RedTeam and QuickBooks Online Software is also preferred.
This is a full-time hourly position. T&G Constructors is a Drug Free WorkPlace.
